O estudo mostrou que o tratamento precoce é fundamental para o redirecionamento do crescimento craniofacial e diminuição da necessidade de cirurgia ortognática futura. Entretanto, a estabilidade do tratamento é um fator preocupante ao profissional responsável, pelo falo de o crescimento mandibular ser por um período maior comparado a maxila.
